The National Neuroscience Society of Romania organizes BAW 2010 events:

Neuroscience of colors in health and disease

This is the 7th consecutive year when the National Neuroscience Society of Romania (http://www.snn.ro) organizes Brain awareness week (BAW) events with international participation at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. As in 2009, BAW 2010 events are organized in partnership with Scientific Organization of Medical Students from Carol Davila University (SOMS).

The main event will be organized as a Brainstorming session on a specific question related to “What can neuroscience teach us about using colors to improve our lives in health and disease” e.g. :colors and mood/mood disorders, colors as behavioral signals in humans, colors in neuro-marketing, colors in neuro-esthetics, color synesthesia/color blindness etc.

Satellite events:

Workshop on Neuroscience of colors in health and disease. (March 17-18th; Mihai Moldovan and SOMS)
Participants will be involved interactively in the design, data collection, analysis and presentation of the results of a small experiment related to neuroscience of colors.(http://www.soms-cduniv.org/)

Neuroscience Lab Open Day (March 17th; Ana-Maria Zagrean, Leon Zagrean):
Students will be guided in the Center for Excellence in Neuroscience, Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
